Itinerary

Day 1: City Tour

Begin your city tour in Cusco with a visit to Koricancha, the Temple of the Sun, renowned for its intricate stonework and historical significance. Next, head to Sacsayhuamán, an impressive fortress offering panoramic views of the city with its massive stone walls. Continue to Kenko (Qenqo) where you'll find fascinating rock formations and ancient ceremonial sites. Day 2: Inka city of Machupicchu

We departed from Cusco city promptly at 4:30 AM, embarking on a scenic bus journey towards the charming town of Ollantaytambo. En route, we traversed picturesque villages including Chinchero and Urubamba, arriving in Ollantaytambo after approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. There, we boarded the train bound for Aguas Calientes, a journey of equal duration, immersing ourselves in the mesmerizing landscapes of the Sacred Valley. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we transferred to a bus destined for the awe-inspiring Inca city of Machu Picchu, where we embarked on a comprehensive guided tour lasting about 4 hours. Exploring the ancient ruins, we marveled at the architectural wonders and soaked in the rich history of this mystical site. After our exploration, we descended back to Aguas Calientes, where a delicious lunch awaited. Following a brief respite, we made our way to the train station to catch our return journey to Ollantaytambo. From there, we boarded a bus back to Cusco city, reaching our lodgings at approximately 9:30 PM.
