Machupicchu 5 Days & 4 Nights

1st Day
Cusco – Mollepata – Soraypampa – Salkantaypampa

This day we left the hotel at 4.30 am. to go to the town of Mollepata where we stop for breakfast and then continue by bus to Soraypampa from where we start walking for about 2 and a half hours to the Humantay lagoon and have a nice view of the snowy mountains and after enjoying the scenery and taking photos descend back to lunch for approximately 1 hour and then continue with the walk for approximately 1 hour and half to the Salkantaypammpa camping place where we spend the night.

2nd Day
Salkantaypampa – Salkantay Pass – Rayanniyoc – Chaullay

This day after a succulent breakfast we continue with the trek for approximately 1 hour uphill to the Salkantay Pass which is located at 4600 meters above sea level from where you can see the Salkantay snow mountain in all its magnitude and then descending for approximately 3 hours to the lunch place called Wayramachay and then continue descending for approximately 3 hours and arrive at the camping place in Chaullay that is located at 2900 meters above sea level.

3rd Day
Chaullay – Collpabamba – Lluscamayu – Playa Sahuayaco

This day we continue descending through the jungle where the landscape is very beautiful since we are at the beginning of the Amazon where we can appreciate a lot of typical flora and fauna of the area and also a great variety of orchids in the way to the place called playa Sahuayaco where we had lunch and for the afternoon have a coffee tour and spend the night there.

4th Day
Playa Sahuayaco – Llactapata – Aobamba – Hydroelectric Of Machupicchu – Aguas Calientes Town

We start the hike very early after a delicious breakfast for approximately 4 hours up to the Llactapata pass and then descending for approximately 25 minutes to the archaeological group of Llactapata from where we can appreciate the Inka city of Machu Picchu for first time and then continue descending Approximately 3 hours until arriving to the Machupicchu hydroelectric place where we had lunch and took the train to go to Aguas Calientes Town and spend the night in a hotel.

5th Day
Aguas calientes Town – Machupicchu – Cusco

This day after breakfast we take the bus from Aguas Calientes Town to the Inca city of Machu Picchu to visit and have the corresponding tour after which you have free time to enjoy the Inca city on your own and return to the town of Aguas Calientes to take the train and return to Cusco city.
