Wrap up your day with a delicious dinner at the lodge, relaxing to the soothing sounds of the jungle.

Around 6:30 AM, head out for a bird-watching adventure in the vibrant palm forest, searching for the elusive South American Ghost Bird (Great Potoo) and spotting colorful blue and yellow macaws and parakeets flitting through the canopy.
Return to the lodge for a tropical breakfast featuring fresh fruits like mango and papaya, while your guide shares insights about medicinal plants such as coca leaf, bamboo water, cacao, and annatto. Afterward, cool off with a refreshing swim in the Guadalupe River, flowing right by the lodge, before enjoying a hearty lunch.
In the afternoon, embark on an exciting canyon and cave exploration near the lodge. Equipped with a flashlight and waterproof boots, discover cave-dwelling creatures like spiders, centipedes, spider-scorpions, and bats as you navigate the fascinating tunnels. Then, join your guide for a relaxing walk through the bamboo forest, where you’ll encounter playful local monkeys swinging through the trees.
As night falls, savor an authentic Amazonian dinner at the lodge. Cap off the evening with a thrilling nocturnal caiman hunt, gliding along the river to spot the glowing eyes of caimans under the starlit sky.

Rise early with a wake-up call at Guadalupe Lodge as the rainforest awakens at dawn. Board a motorboat for an exciting trip to the Parrot Clay Lick, one of Manu National Park's most stunning wildlife spectacles. Weather permitting, watch over 15 species of parrots and macaws flock to the towering 50-meter riverbank, feasting on clay and gravel to aid digestion—a vibrant display of colors and sounds.
Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast, then pack your belongings for the journey ahead. Next, visit a Wildlife Rescue Center run by a local Amazonian family in the heart of the Manu Biosphere Reserve. Gain insights into their vital conservation efforts and the diverse wildlife they protect.
Finally, embark on the scenic 7-hour drive back to Cusco, winding through lush cloud forests and over dramatic mountain passes. Expect to arrive around 5:00 PM, with transfers to your hotel upon request.
