Early in the morning, around 7:30 AM, we will pick you up from your hotel in Puno to begin our journey to Lake Titicaca, one of the highest navigable lakes in the world. We’ll board a boat and head to the Uros Floating Islands, a unique community of man-made islands constructed from totora reeds. Here, you’ll meet the Uros people, learn about their traditional way of life, and explore their vibrant culture through a guided visit (approximately 1.5 hours). You’ll have the chance to interact with the locals and even take an optional ride on a traditional reed boat.

Afterward, we’ll continue our boat journey (about 2.5 hours) to Amantani Island, known for its serene beauty and rich Inca heritage. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by local host families who will share their homes and customs with you. After a traditional lunch prepared by your host family, we’ll hike (about 1 hour) to the island’s sacred Pachatata or Pachamama temples, offering stunning panoramic views of Lake Titicaca and a magical sunset. In the evening, enjoy a cultural exchange with the locals, including a traditional dinner and an optional folkloric dance event, where you can dress in local attire.
